    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;I am a Londoner that&amp;#8217;s moved to Cape Town with my South African / Polish wife, where we&amp;#8217;ve started our own business selling South East Asian shiny things.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In my spare time (weekends and days off from working at the shop) I like taking pictures of things.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;Since about 2004 I&amp;#8217;ve been actively trying to take good pictures.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At the start of 2005 I scored a Canon EOS 300D Digital with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, which I&amp;#8217;m still rocking now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I carry it with me pretty much everywhere, and most of my pictures are taken with it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In January 2007 I got a Holga, and I&amp;#8217;m really enjoying playing with medium format film.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;I live mostly at &lt;a href="http://maxbarners.com"&gt;maxbarners.com&lt;/a&gt; but also post my stuff at &lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/max_barners/"&gt;flickr&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://maxbarners.deviantart.com/gallery/"&gt;deviantart&lt;/a&gt; and (occasionally) at &lt;a href="http://jpgmag.com/people/maxbarners"&gt;jpg mag&lt;/a&gt; where I look for inspiration from photographers who are Actually Good TM.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;Max Barners is just my stage name.&lt;/p&gt;</content>
